What is a podcatcher?
A podcatcher is a piece of software which automatically downloads new podcast episodes as they become available. If your media player is an Apple product then you’re probably familiar with iTunes, but if not there are a number of applications out there for the choosing, most of them for free. Simply Google “podcatcher” and pick the app that seems right for you!

What is an RSS reader?
An RSS reader is a piece of software which allows you to subscribe to one or more RSS feeds (such as blogs, news sites or magazines) and have their content appear in a timeline, similar to how social media sites like Facebook or Twitter display posts from the people that you friend or follow; in fact these sites are built on similar technology.
